YPCL Meeting

August 13, 2003


  1. Sagas & Ragas final Report/Summary

    • lost $10k
    • 580 paid, about 700 people total
    • event competition could be the cause of low turnout
    • high cover charge could be the cause of low turnout

  2. Next Event: Art & Seoul: Friday Nov 7 or Nov 14

    • Cost of food is high
    • Admission price will be $15/$20
    • Possible Activities:

      • Korean Drumming
      • Karoake
      • Dance Dance revolution/ other video games
      • Martial Arts Demo
      • Fashion Show
      • Korean Traditional Dance
      • Kimchee Station
      • Korean DJ from 111 Minna and Rohan

    • Create a better looking email
    • Promote as "new and improved AAH'?

    • Make them connect with the art in some way so they'll come back
    • Position Museum as a young, hip place to hang out after work

7. Courtney (Ellen's beau) says next AAH should $10 cover and ppl $$ for drinks; In addition he believes that the food be in Samsung hall and the DJ should be at the main hall

8. Anna ( Dennis's S.O.) says that the last AAH has no interactivity. The 1st AAH had a scavenger hunt and free headsets for the exhibits. Second AAH had none of that. In addition her co workers told her that $25 and 1 free drink is too much.
